To foster desirable economic development in the community through the accomplishment of one or more of the following objectives:

• Creating jobs and/or reducing unemployment.

• Realizing a net gain in property taxes collected.

• Collecting additional sales tax.

• Making improvements that will result in Junction being a more attractive place for living, visiting or investing.
